General use guidelines for the Multimedia Production Studios and Presentation Room (188C):
The equipment is intended for educational and research purposes. Use of the equipment
for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited. Review the copyright and fair use guidelines to make sure you are in compliance.
Users may reserve reasonable blocks of time for equipment use in the Multimedia Production
Studios during the times we have technical support at the Help & Information Desk. At other
times the Studios are available on a first come, first served basis.
The Presentation Room (rm. 188C) is intended for preview and practice of projects and presentations.
It is not a room for group study, individual study, or tutoring. Group study rooms are available through
the Circulation Desk.
The Presentation Room can be reserved for a maximum of a two-hour block per day, with a
limit of two days per week.
The Presentation Room is not available for use when the H&I Desk is closed.
If the person reserving the Presentation Room is 15 or more minutes late for the reservation,
the reservation is cancelled and the room can be used by someone else.
DO NOT ALTER WIRING among the monitors, decks and converters of any of the equipment.
Remember to allow enough time to finish and save your project before your reservation ends or
the Library closes.
IMPORTANT! Be sure to back-up your work to your own portable storage or AFS file space before
you terminate your session. If you don't your work may be lost.
